here, a place where people wont judge me... (cuz only nan and steffi will see this, haha i think)

a place where i can just rant without ppl judging (or actually i trust ppl who read this to not judge me too negatively...)

just felt that i needed a space to rant off my frustrations... 委屈 maybe... actually i also not very sure why i felt so hurt/ emotional today...

today at work... the 'result slip' shows that i have an extra $10 in my cash register. meaning either i gave the patron the wrong change, or i forgot to key in a sales transaction and collected money from it. either way, it's my fault.
but then again, i've always been very careful and when i up/down any money, i would have known (from the previous times where i collected less money or patron forgot to take the change... ) but today's error was seriously unexpected... i was damm shocked when i saw the figure. EXACTLY $10...

sidenote: i think manager wont want me to handle cash next wk le, given this ugly record... :/

when manager A asked me to recount the float, i was quite pissed cuz i'm 90% sure that my float amt was correct. it's like an insult to a math student to have done such simple sums wrong. moreover, i always count my money at least twice... also his tone was quite harsh also. 给我重算 was what he said.  lol seriously like a boss lor. i know you are the boss but then you can say it in a nicer tone right?!

and then i think you dislike me sia (refer tweet post), your attitude towards me is quite bad. i didnt take note of how you treat the rest but compared to the other managers, you seem to ignore me or give me weird response sometimes... just say of the things that happen today, asking me to recount my float, ok i accept it. it's the standard procedure when there's more or short of money.

in the morning, a patron handed a kiddie combo coupon to use, i saw the expiry date was 24april. obviously overdued. asked you abt it. 'this coupon is says valid till 24april but then patron say she just received it at the box office, how? box ppl give wrongly?' your response was '今天是几号？' I was like lol why you so random ask me this qn. your facial expression was like cant you see this is an overdued coupon, still need me to tell you what to do kind of thing.
super pissed. you are the manager. you are the one who is supposed to solve the problem since i've already told you the problem. and i'm told, dunno anything, ask manager, cannot quarrel with patron. then now you are like asking me a pri sch level qn? lol

ok fine. you took the coupon to ask the other manager abt it. then subsequently prob solved. new coupon not sent over yet so use old one.

next issue, today popping gourmet popcorn so the salted popcorn popper is used. then in front of my counter was a couple trying to decide what to order. i saw the oil in the popper is hot enough (cuz of the smoke coming out). you was just standing beside the popper, so i signaled/ asked you to help put the raw corn in. dunno if you didnt hear me or what cuz we clearly had eye contact. but then you pretended (from what i see) to not understand what i was saying and ignored me. you are free standing at the counter and you cant do such a simple thing? or is it cuz you are a manager so i cannot ask you to help me? lol
in the end i have to run to the popper to pour the raw corn myself before going back to my counter to ask the couple for their order.

all these may be misunderstanding i dont know. i just feel strange that he's like that...

also, another thing why i felt so affected today was cuz of what yiting said, 厉害hor，爬到我们头上来了hor... i'm just trying to express my dissatisfaction why i had to count the float again. groan a bit... apparently she felt that i was trying to be 没大没小 with the managers. ok fine, now i know where i stand. it's so disheartening that she thinks so bad of me. seriously felt like bursting out crying at that point of time. and again she told me i shouldnt have so much left over $2 notes, should have changed it with the other ppl. the truth is, i asked auntie mary if she needed $2 notes to change with me. she said she has a lot of it. then i commented i'm gonna get nagged by yiting again if she sees the pile of $2s. true enough...

(add-on: he asked me to count $50 worth of 10cents coins and pack them into packets of $10. and i did recounting for the $10 packets in case of any error. actually i told him that he just throw the whole packet of coins into the money exchange dispenser and the machine will just count out the amt i want. lol waste my energy when this job can just be done easily. the time used to count the coins was supposed to be my lunch time. and you just conveniently asked me to count the coins. lol count until my fingers black)

ok this post is damm long... just realise my recent posts are all very long... hais... may tmr be better... and i should seriously stop complaining / thinking about this.  sounded super 小心眼... (but I'M NOT!)
bottom line: know where you stand... 不要不自量力。

shall blog a bit before i sleep... haha...

today me rest day... haha slacked the whole day at home... haha snacking a lot... (that's quite bad actually... :p)

occasional breaks are good... haha gives you time to recharge and reflect...

this week of work allowed me to learn new things... haha and a lot of accidents in the candy bar too... :P haha that reminds me to write a diary of the accidents that happened on me... haha

ytd i got the nachos cheese into my eye when serving the customer as i put the ladle too hard into the container...
the day before i scald my right hand cuz the warmer temperature was too high. the plastic bag even melted inside the warmer. then when i was trying to take the cheesy hotdog out... hais...
then another day before i squatted down to take a screwdriver at the bottom of the popcorn popper, stood up too fast and hit my head on the popper door. then the hit was too hard that the door fell out... head damm pain... :'(
another day before i scald my left hand as my hand accidentally touched the griller when i was putting the meatballs to cook....

omg i'm super careless... :/ wasnt like this last time... but now... :/

maybe cuz of the trauma caused by my colleague... currently, the rumor now is someone wants to court me... lol this is damm weird. heard from the other colleagues that he always target the new girls that work here... it's like damm despo and scary lor... omg. that day he bought koi for me... like out of no reason... not only that, he still went to ask lowell stuff abt me on his first day of work... lol damm crazy... im not sure whats the situation like now, told my manager abt it. she says he should be controlling it already cuz a lot of the staff had been teasing him... i got lowell to help me if possible... and tried to avoid him... rejected his request to give phone no and fb name... hope he gets the hint and gives up...

but then again, like what my manager says, it may be i misunderstood him. he's just trying to be funny but the other colleagues tried to spread rumors... so i shouldnt make it so awkward...

ok enough talk... sleep time. tmr early shift... that lowell shiok lor, next wk work 2 days only... haha
i work 6 days sia... (cuz i requested to work more days... :P money...)

pikachu chalet!! :)

came back from pikachu chalet today! haha had quite a lot of fun with my og mates and seniors! :)

really long time since we had a gathering like this where i can see most of my og mates! :) :) really had a fun time, thanks to edmund for the preparation. he really put in a lot of effort in coordinating this... :')

sadly, i didnt go for the chalet on day 1, where they had a lot of htht sessions at night from what i heard from the rest. only managed to join them on day 2 where there's ktv and bbq... but still, enjoyed my time with them! :) <3 p="">
first was the ktv at 10dollar club. at first was quite shy to sing at the mic without the analog cuz i noe my singing's not very good from all the suaning from my bro at home... but yongsheng was very nice to keep trying to encourage me to sing with the mic and then try to turn off the analog multiple times, teasing me to make me feel more relaxed to singing in front of the rest... :P haha i hope i didnt spoil my image... :P haha if really got ppl think it's bad then i'll really feel quite sad...
it was a fun 4hr karaoke session from 3-7pm before going back to our apartment.

was drizzling then had to delay the bbq session. haha time for mahjong... :P haha not a very good player but then good thing didnt piss the other players off.. haha had great time joking around... first round of mahjong with jessica, kenneth and yiwei involved the treating of starbucks coffee from the person who 'fang pao'...  haha the bet was slightly big though... :P but it didnt last long as clearly jessica  had to pay for more cups of coffee cuz she just learnt mahjong ytd... :P haha

while some of them went downstairs to bbq the food, we continued with mahjong playing and paused a while when the food is ready. only managed to eat dinner at around 10pm... haha pro right? :p

after bbq, i went down to help out to clean the bbq area then was slight resting session. some small chit-chats here and there, some of the guys when to bathe cuz they were quite drenched from the bbq-ing under the rain... took some group photos before those who not staying over go back.... :) should be on fb after yongsheng upload the photos... :)

then it was cleaning up and then second round mahjong session. this time involve using playing chips and money. good thing it's 10cents 20cents bet... :p with yiwei, szewei and yongsheng... haha the guys are clearly more pro but haha still managed to win a bit. actually edmund helped me to play when i went to bath at around 4plus... haha yup 4plus am. that's how fast time flies...

5plus am and the 'seniors' yongsheng and yiwei couldnt take it and went to sleep. some of the others playing card games also went sleep. the last few survivors, me, daphne, edmund, szewei and leonard, decided to play asshole taidi... haha lol. lots of laughter in this... haha the laughter is loud until can disturb those sleeping in the rooms... haha...

played for a while till 6plus, my eyes couldn't take it. slept on the armchair. so in the end, me and szewei napping in the living room, leonard went to the room to sleep and edmund and daphne didnt sleep at all. daebak... haha

by 9 everyone had to be awake to pack up to check out at 10... haha nice try surviving the night ching... :P the group of 10 of us had breakfast at macs after checking out. chit-chat a bit and went home after that...

haha didnt realise it's such a long post. haha it's ok since i'm happy~ :) haha must record down this happy time... :)

love gatherings like this that make us closely knitted as an OG. glad that i met them to make my uni life more colorful... :)

last day of my finals

yes!! finally ended... it was a tough journey...

my last paper for this sem was today morning, 9am, MA1104 Multivariable Calculus paper... the paper was freaking tough... :'( so damm difficult... super demoralising... i really got the feeling that i may fail this module... :( worse come to worst, i will have to s/u this mod and drop my minor... :( but this will be super paiseh, like it really shows that i'm not cut for it...

pls pls pls may everyone score super badly and the bell curve be in my favor... i'm super scared of my results now... meina told me it'll be out on 4th june which is like less than 1 month... o.O... i know i should have paid more attention when revising... the questions seem quite standard but why i do the questions?!?!?! :( hais.... hais....

was complaining to meina after the paper... like some auntie keep on blabbering on and on abt how screwed i am for the paper....

went partyworld after that to sing off all my woes... like a crazy woman... tgt with yujia and meina... we were damm high singing the korean and chinese songs... haha singing k is fun! cuz no one will judge your singing... you are just suppose to have fun...

tmr's i'm officially starting work at GV... at plaza sing. new colleagues, new working environment, same company... i hope i can adapt well!!

huimin's flying off soon. i hope we can meet up on fri for dinner. pray hard that my shift starts in the morning on fri... meina also found a job doing data entry, slack job to earn some spare cash for her korea trip... :p haha. dunno how nicole's doing lately... got boyfriend forget her best buddies le lar... haha should be still sweet with her gay boy... :p samuel, please take good care of her! (haha even though i haven met you b4... :P)

i heard sylvia's flying off soon too. ocip stuff... same day as huimin i think... haha :p paiseh so many dates to remember... hope she'll have a safe trip!!! nan's exams end today too! (if i'm not wrong... :P) haha she's going taiwan first b4 coming back sg... haha miss her!! my qin ai de's having her finals soon!! jiayou qin ai de!! :) dun date so much until neglect you studies!!! :P (haha kidding i noe you won't... ) miss you too!! <3 nbsp="" p="" saranghae="">

五月，天

五月了，听了 SHE 的五月天。。。

夏天到了，听了 f(x) 的 Hot summer...

最近天气不好，不是因为一直下雨，而是太热了。。。好辛苦，心情也不好。可能是考试压力吧。。。也不知道怎么样才能让自己开心一点。。。 好像妈咪说的，我们活着就是这样一天过一天，每天重复一样的东西。我很同意她的说法。。。

每个人一出生，要走的路其实都一样，起点终点都一样，生老病死。。。千篇一律。。。:/ 我们真的就是这样度过一生的吗？真不知是应该笑还是哭。

为了不要让自己想太多，我决定让自己忙碌起来。去打工，再多一个礼拜，考试结束，赚外快。。。认识新的同事，新的环境，只希望同事们好相处。。。

忘了成绩几时出来，但 I just hope for the best. 我已经尽力了。。。

朋友是一个蛮抽象的词语。有时我觉得我知道它的意思，有时却发现我其实并不了解。一个人在家里呆久了，对朋友这个词语就会感到很陌生。恐惧，害怕，我们还要好吗？我们还能坦诚相对吗？我不是在影射任何人，只是单纯的想把我的想法记下来。。。
